Discharging items

Consider the following points when discharging items.

Adjust the keyboard and mouse to suit you.

The position you work in should be comfortable and allow you to have good posture.

Position the screen to reduce any glare or reflection of light on the screen.

Balance your weight evenly between both feet.

Take a pause to move the weight from one foot to the other.

Move your feet to reduce the severity of the twisting and take pressure off your back.

Rather than reach if something is too far away, move your feet to get to the object.

Slide items over the desk. Lifting items puts more stress on your wrists and arms.

Wear comfortable footwear.

Keep your wrists straight.
