Mural
In 1997, Nicole
and another artist, Connie Burgos, painted a large scale mural at
RMIT's Fisherman's Bend Campus in Melbourne
The purpose of
the mural was to brighten up the campus for the
aerospace engineering students who studied on the campus.
In consultation with the students, Connie and Nicole painted the mural
with ideas which came from the students themselves.
The mural features a large jumbo jet taking off in an arid Australian landscape.
The building (which is a portable classroom) has an actual door which leads
into
the student centre, via the building painted as part of the mural.
